Tau Mu at Texas A & M University

Alpha Omicron Pi

Maddie Worth

Chapter President

HOWDY! My name is Maddie Worth and I am an International Studies: Politics and Diplomacy major from Omaha, Nebraska. Despite being from Nebraska, I have proudly been a Texas resident for over two years and never plan on changing that. I bleed Aggie Maroon and my heart beats to the rhythm of the Aggie War Hymn, so needless to say, I love my University. I plan to commission as an officer in the U.S. Air Force upon my graduation from Texas A&M. I am a member of the Corps of Cadets and I am also involved with the Texas A&M Trap and Skeet team, which has taken home the ACUI National Championship the past two years! In my free time, I enjoy going to the gun range and spending time with my family.

Claire Smith

Vice President of Administration

Howdy! My name is Claire Smith and I am a junior Sports Management major with an Art minor from Arlington, Texas. My main responsibility within AOII is overseeing the internal side of the sorority, such as chapter meetings and committees! I work closely with our awesome Chapter President, Maddie, to make sure the chapter is running smoothly! I enjoy playing with my puppy, eating Chipotle, and taking naps when I shouldn't be. Outside of AOII I am involved in Fish Camp and Traditions Council. I love being involved with this University, with AOII, and I can't wait to share this amazing sisterhood with you!

Ashley Smith

Vice President of Academic Development

Howdy! My name is Ashley and I'm a sophomore History major with a minor in Anthropology from San Antonio, Texas! My main priority within AOII is making sure the chapter maintains a high GPA and has all the resources necessary to achieve excellence. Outside of AOII, I am a member of Texas A&M's Pre-Law Society and work a part-time job. A fun fact about me is that I have a minor obsession with all kinds of whales, and this summer my dream is coming true and I'm going to see Phantom of the Opera in London!

Alexis Westerman

Vice President of Chapter Development

Howdy! My name is Alexis Westerman. I’m a freshman English major with a double minor in Sports Management and Business from Corpus Christi, Texas. Outside of AOII I am a member of Texas A&M’s Pre-Law Society and I hope to pursue a career in Sports Law. In my free time I enjoy playing basketball and golf.

Abby Torpy

Vice President of Communications

Howdy! My name is Abby Torpy & I am a junior Strategic Communication major from Weatherford, Texas! When I'm not updating Tau Mu's social media accounts & ignoring my other responsibilities, I like to watch movies & TV, listen to music, spend time with my roommates, & dream about having a dog. Outside of AOII, I'm involved in Liberal Arts Student Council & the Aggie Orientation Leader Program, & I hope to go to grad school for Student Affairs after graduation. I am also a lot too into the 80s, & avoid practicing piano so I don't have to admit to myself that I'm not really good at it anymore.

Katie Sykes

Vice President of Education

Howdy Ags! My name is Katie Sykes, I'm a freshman Allied Health major from Belton, TX. I plan on pursuing a career in pediatric nursing and minoring in Spanish! I am obsessed with anything AOII, anything interior design related, and anything dog. I want to pursue AOII further after holding office as a collegian and become an active alum. I highly encourage anyone and everyone to visit my wonderful chapter here at the best university on the planet. Gig 'Em!

Taylor Clark

Vice President of Membership Recruitment

Howdy! My name is Taylor and I am an Agricultural Communications & Journalism major from Navasota, TX. I am the Vice President of Membership Recruitment for Alpha Omicron Pi. My main goal is to recruit girls from Texas A&M that exhibit the values of AOII to be a part of this amazing chapter. Upon graduating from Texas A&M, I hope to move to Washington D.C. and work in Communications for a politician. Some fun facts about me are I love Jesus and I think Sonic corn dogs are the best things ever created.

Macy Horn

Vice President of Standards

My name is Macy Horn, I am a University Studies-Business major with my minors in Communication and Public Health. After I graduate in December, I will begin working towards my career goal in Medical Device Sales. In my free time I enjoy drawing, watching movies, being outside, and playing with my puppy.

Sarah Gerlich

Panhellenic Delegate

Hi! I’m Sarah Gerlich and I’m a Finance major from Bellaire, TX. When I’m not drowning in school work and real work, I really like to cook and bake. I won a mini-Iron chef contest when I was thirteen by making a vanilla soufflé with a dark chocolate ganache. I have an unhealthy obsession with Adidas and Urban Outfitters (I can never get enough athleisure wear or cute rompers), and I can be caught watching the Food Network or Comedy Central late at night. My go-to fun facts are that I’m a triplet (the other two are boys), and I’ve had my designs featured in over four fashion shows. AOII has given me the opportunity to really get involved on campus and feel a connection with this university that I didn’t have before. AOII is where I found my greatest friends, girls I can count on, and my home away from home.

Jordan Daly

New Member Educator

Howdy! My name is Jordan Daly and I am majoring in Aerospace Engineering with minors in Business and Mathematics. I am from Pearland, Texas, but spent my junior and senior year of high school living abroad in Brussels, Belgium. I love to travel and hope to spend my life exploring the different cultures, architectural wonders, and hidden beauties that the world has to offer. My job as New Member Educator is not only to welcome New Members into AOII, but to be the liaison between them and the rest of the chapter as they transition to becoming an AOII initiate. It is my duty to demonstrate to our New Members what it means to be a member of AOII and how to uphold the expectations of our Fraternity. The New Member period is such a fun and exciting time in which you are able to grow as a person and find your place at AOII, and I am just so grateful to have the opportunity to get to know and love each and every girl throughout their journey.

Ashley Castellanos

Howdy, I'm Ashley Castellanos and I am so blessed to be Tau Mu's Chapter Treasurer this year. I am a junior Finance major within Mays Business School here at Texas A&M and now hopeful Economics double major as well. Numbers are my passion, so in my free time outside of AOII, I am very much involved with Finance organizations at A&M.
